Blood Ties April was fast approaching, and Evie was beginning to worry that she'd gained a little bit of weight over the Christmas period. That usually wasn't something to worry about, she was slender enough to carry it and still look a million galleons, but in just under two months she was required to fit into a dress that was specifically made to her measurements. If those measurements changed to the point of the dress not fitting, she was going to be on the receiving end of a whole world of pain at the hands of her wonderful big sister. She had gone on a liquid diet all week, and though she was pretty much starving on the day of their dress fitting, she felt confident that she would fit into anything that was thrown her way. It wasn't every day you got to be maid of honour at your big sister's wedding, and she wanted to make sure she played the part just perfectly. She was meeting Clem at the bridal shop at ten, and Evie wasn't one for being late. She made it a habit to arrive at least ten minutes early everywhere she went, so that she would have that time to adjust and settle into her new surroundings. Tunnel of Love had been open all of forty-five minutes when Evie sauntered through the door and immediately checked herself out in one of the long mirrors to make sure her hair wasn't blown about too much in the cold winter wind outside. Fixing a few stray strands back down into the rest of her dark waves, she opened her coat and smoothed down her dress, dark eyes scrutinizing every inch of herself before she moved on from her reflection. The women in the shop all seemed to be hovering like anxious butterflies, each of them wondering if they should offer assistance to the new customer. Evie beat them to it. "I'm waiting for my sister, Clementine Nott, we have a fitting today," she said, words authoritative but softened by the smile she offered up to the blonde nearest. The woman rushed behind the small front desk to check the list of appointments for Clem's name, serious face gaining a well practiced smile as she found the name and greeted Evie. "Wonderful," she beamed. "You're a little bit early, but please take a seat and I'll be right with you. Is your sister on her way?" She glanced at the large shop windows as though she knew the difference between Clem and every other woman passing by. How stupid. Inwardly rolling her eyes at the woman's idiocy, Evie shrugged her coat off and handed it to the woman. "I hope so or I've made a wasted trip," she laughed, humour more than a little bit forced. "She's usually on time, I'm sure she'll be here soon." With that, she left the blonde to hang her coat up for her and went to sit on the large plush sofa nearest to the window, dark eyes scanning the dazzling gowns as she passed. She hadn't bothered to pick the dress of her dreams for her own arranged marriage, she knew before she had even gone dress shopping that she wouldn't be going through with it, and so she'd half-heartedly picked any old thing out and not put too much thought into any of her wedding planning at all. Luckily her desire to not marry the idiot she had been promised to had worked out for her, and she'd managed to take the crappy dress back and get a refund, and her excitement about one day planning her own wedding for real was still intact. One day, she would be a princess, but for now she would settle for being a bridesmaid. Her pert backside sank into the pale blue cushions of the sofa, and she crossed one leg over the other, eyes still trained on the sparkles of the dresses her sister wouldn't be wearing. _______________________ tag: Clementine Gabrielle Burke notes: Sisters! <3 outfit: Cute and classy. template by izzy[googlefont="Mrs Saint Delafield"]

Prepared and on time, that was how Clem managed to stay on top of just about absolutely everything in her life. If there was ever a bludger thrown her way then she was ready for it. This morning was bludger free and the day was going exactly to plan. She packed up all her little things into her bag and had it ready by the front door for when she left. She finished off getting herself ready for the day, charms in place to keep her hair and make up from messing up on her travels and her outfit was completely crease free. Checking her teeth in the mirror she was satisfied with absolutely everything and headed for her bag, picking it up and leaving her home, apparating as soon as she was beyond the charms that made it impossible for a witch or wizard to apparate in or out.
Today was both rather exciting and nerve wrecking. It wasn't as if Clem hadn't known she'd be married off some day, she definitely knew that she would be, but to actually be coming so close to the date, to having a one of her final fittings for her wedding dress and her sister for her bridesmaid dress! Merlin she hoped Evie hadn't put on weight. She'd practically been shovelling food into her mouth on Christmas day giving Clem all kinds of anxieties. She hoped her other bridesmaids weren't the same or she'd skin every single bloody one of them alive to shave off a few pounds, which she'd do with a lovely smile while convincing them it was entirely for their own good. She was good at that - manipulating people, helping them see and understand things from her own point of view. It had certainly done her well in her political career thus far and she was rather proud of herself for her accomplishments. She of course neglected to include the whole using daddy's money to buy her way into Sybil's good graces but that wasn't a huge part of it all, Clem was confident enough in herself that she felt she could have pulled it off without throwing money at the now Minister for Magic, it just would have been harder and Clem much preferred to play smart, not hard.
Arriving at Whimsic Alley Clem made her way to the boutique where wedding dresses and bridesmaid dresses filled the walls and racks. Clem had something rather special put aside for herself and she'd gone with classy for her bridesmaids rather than repulsive and humiliating. Her sister was her chief bridesmaid, the maid of honour and was going to be with her today. As soon as Clem reached the shop door, pulling it open spot on ten, the little bell rang and she spotted her dear sister sitting, having been looking at the dresses on the walls, none of which Clem had liked very much when she'd started looking at dresses. There was only one dress in the whole place that she liked and they were lucky. There was another little place in a small wizarding village that had some of the most amazing - and expensive - dresses that she could have imagined. She'd fallen in love with so many but the one here was what she wanted most of all, it was the one she'd be wearing down the aisle as she walked towards her future husband.
Clem found she was approached rather quickly by some dim-witted blonde who was attempting to greet her. Clem just held out her clutch for the woman to take and began shrugging her coat off after undoing it. "Hello, Evie," She smiled, genuinely happy to see her sister, "Been waiting long?" Where Clem liked to arrive spot on time, Evie was always that little bit earlier and Clem supposed it was an admirable trait to have. Having taken her coat off she held it out for Miss eager to run off with as Clem took the opportunity to head in her sisters direction, so glad that she'd managed to talk their mother out of coming. She did love her mother, dearly, but planning and pulling off a wedding was turning out to be a hell of a lot more stressful than Clem had originally anticipated because despite all the planning in the world, people still managed to bugger things up completely and while she wanted to impress her future in laws, and especially her future husband, she wanted everything to be perfect for her because sod everyone else, this was her day! She had a handsome fiancé who seemed as sweet as could be but it wasn't enough, not for her wedding day. He was still a man she was expected to marry, not one she had chosen, and so while this union was completely about joining two pure bloodlines, she wanted it to be entirely about her!

Blood Ties Clementine arrived right on time, looking the image of perfection as usual, and Evie watched her sister as the older witch removed her coat and left the blonde shop assistant to play lapdog for her. There was probably a house elf or two about the place to do those kinds of jobs, but the blonde witch seemed eager, so why not give her the honour. There was a smile on Evie's face as Clem approached, and she stood to greet her, pulling her into a hug that wouldn't ruin either of their hair, and planting a light kiss on her cheek. "Not at all," she said, grinning, one shoulder hitching as excitement decided to finally rear it's head. "I'm so excited to see you in your dress again," she trilled, taking Clem's hand and guiding her over to the too comfy sofa by the window so that they could sit together and wait for the incompetents to get their shit together and bring out their dresses. "I hardly slept last night." She paused, then gave a twitch of her head as she decided a little bit of the truth wouldn't hurt. "That was partly hunger, though, I've been on a liquid diet all week. I swear my stomach was speaking to me in German last night. I've put a silencing charm on it."She actually had. The growling of her starving appendage was annoying, and she figured she had to feel it, so hearing it as well was just one annoyance too many, so she had silenced it for the day, not wanting any embarrassing moments when it decided to speak up and announce to everyone that she had gotten fat for Christmas and was now paying for it. Licking her lips, she blinked at a mousy haired young girl who had approached quietly without even announcing herself. She seemed to be waiting for one of them to notice her, and her face lit up when Evie's gaze fell on her plain face. "Would either of you like a drink? Tea? Coffee? Anything?" she asked, her voice far to gentle for Evie's liking. No back bone. "Just water for me, thank you," she answered, a well practiced kind smile flying in Mousy's direction to set her at ease. How had she even ended up being employed here? She was just the type of timid person who would drop someone's dress, trip over it and rip the train in half without taking more than five steps, how she managed to carry drinks without trembling and spilling them was beyond the beautiful brunette, but she would quite like that drink of water. Her stomach agreed. _______________________ tag: Clementine Gabrielle Burke notes: Sisters! <3 outfit: Cute and classy. template by izzy[googlefont="Mrs Saint Delafield"]

Clementine couldn't help but grin. She was quite looking forward to having all eyes on her when she walked down the aisle. Anyone that was anyone in the wizarding world would be at her wedding and she wanted them all gazing in wonder at her and her dress. Her sister would be beautiful too, there was no way her sister would be anything but stunning but everyone had to be fixated on the bride. Clem wasn't usually the sort to be all 'me, me, me' when it came to attention but it would be fun for a whole day to enjoy the gazes of wonder and amazement. Clem thought of herself as more than attractive, she knew she was good looking, it ran in the family, but she also knew there were women in the world that were that slight bit more attractive than herself and she had to make sure she'd outshine every single one of them on her wedding day. The Burke sisters, she thought, might try and upstage her. Livia seemed the most reasonable of the three but the older tow, Lilith and Lyra were rather unpredictable. Clem was regretting not asking them to be bridesmaids, it was something she should have done in order to control what they were wearing on her big day.
"Ugh, please don't gain any weight. I will have to kill you. We can't go giving those Burke sisters anything to snigger about." She said with a roll of her eyes, "And I'm willing to bet if Narcissa Malfoy is feeling better she'll be one hell of a judgmental cow too." She said, lumping yet another blonde in with the sisters three. Blondes always thought they were better than everyone else and with the money those families had behind them, they could afford to think in such a way. "A water for me too, please." She said with a charming little smile, giving Clem a sweet and innocent look over her features. She was going to start her dress fitting off on the right foot and she was going to be calm about it all for as long as she could be, but there would undoubtedly be some kind of screw up and she was going to have to just trash half the shop in order to get her point across. It wasn't that Clem wanted to trash the shop, it was just that no one ever seemed to listen unless there was an unbelievable amount of yelling done to get her point across, or something was utterly destroyed because of their incompetence and right now she was trying to save her voice. The wedding was creeping closer and closer and she didn't want to risk losing her voice from having screamed at the morons trying to destroy her wedding day.

Blood Ties "And the fact that they would snigger at their soon to be sister, is exactly why they're not part of the bridal party," Evie agreed, button nose in the air as she expertly dodged talking about her weight gain anymore, and turned the conversation into bashing the Burke sisters instead. "Besides, we don't need any trashy peroxide heads in the pictures, Lucian is gorgeous, don't get me wrong, but he's probably the only natural blonde in the family." Evie wanted to believe that more than anything, but she knew it was more likely that the entire Burke family were all natural blondes. She'd known a few of them since school and even before then at pureblood gatherings, and unfortunately they'd all been blonde then, too, though it was easy enough to flick a wand and change your hair colour. The whole blondes have more fun thing was nonsense, anyway, Evie had been as dark as the night since the day she was born with a shock of rich chocolate hair, and she considered herself to be more fun than brainless blondes or gingers, for that matter. Everyone paled into insignificance compared to her, which was why she was going to be the star of Clementine's wedding, and not the Burke sisters. Well, of course there was Clem, herself, who should probably be the star of the show, but after her Evie had zero competition. She rolled her eyes at the mention of another blonde, Narcissa Malfoy. "Honestly, Narcissa might as well just give up and remove herself from society already. The Blacks are cursed. She's never going to recover from that, nobody cares what she thinks any more." She was also never going to give Lucius Malfoy an heir, it was just one of those things, women in the Black family were barren, they all needed to accept it and move on. Preferably far, far away from the rest of the elite. Hunger was making Evie bitchy, but there was nothing to be done about it until after the fitting, and she took her glass of water from the blonde shop assistant and flicked her hair over her shoulder out of habit, glancing around the shop for signs of anyone calling them into a private room, or even anyone bringing out their dresses before calling them into a private room to try them. "Running slow today, aren't they," she murmured under her breath to her sister, dark eyes flashing between the other shop assistants, who all didn't seem to be busy enough to not be running to tend to the sisters. _______________________ tag: Clementine Gabrielle Burke notes: Sisters! <3 outfit: Cute and classy. template by izzy[googlefont="Mrs Saint Delafield"]

They seemed like terrible people, they didn't even bother trying to play the game a little. They were elite and they liked for everyone to know it too. Clem and Evie were different, they had somehow found that life worked better when you got along with everyone - or at least most people. Clem never pretended to get along with absolutely everyone, there were of course a few people she disliked and that disliked her and that was fine, however life ran smoother when you weren't an openly judgemental cow like a certain blonde Burke sister. Or a couple of them really. At least one was a little more tolerable than the rest but Clem couldn't ver well ask only one sister to be in her bridal party. It was all or none and with two of the three being too much to handle, Clem opted to keep them all out of the wedding party and Lucian or his mother hadn't said anything on that matter, or at least not yet or not to her face any how. There was no telling what Lucian or his mother were like in private but Clem had high hopes that Lucian wasn't anything like his sisters, he was of course a business man and traded with people from all walks of life, or so she presumed. "Do me a favour and make sure you enlarge their dresses a little when they get up to dance at the reception, or even before their pictures." She smirked, the idea of the cows actually looking like cows was entertaining.
Clem laughed, perhaps it was rather cruel to do so but the issues between the Malfoy's were rather laughable right now. It kind of made Clem glad she hadn't settled down for love, the couple seemed to be having all sorts of troubles with conceiving, let alone actually conceiving and heir to the vast Malfoy fortune! "Perhaps Lucius will be looking for a new wife soon," She smirked, looking at Evie from the corner of her eye, "Perhaps we could suggest a new Mrs Malfoy, someone tolerable to take his interests." She suggested, "Lucius is a hell of a lot better looking than that last grotesque oaf you were promised to, Grenville or whatever his name was, so finding someone wouldn't be a difficult task at all." Clem had no idea what Evie's fiancé had been called because she'd never bothered getting to know him. He was truly disgusting to her and she'd known he wasn't going to be around long enough for Evie to actually go through with marrying him so what was the point? "I'll say. If the dress isn't absolutely perfect or in need of taking in a little because I've lost weight, then the shop might just get burnt to the ground." She muttered to Evie, just as the mousey brown haired assistant came back with their waters, "Thank you." Clem smiled, her tone entirely changed from when she'd been talking in a hushed voice to Evie, "Any chance of trying on my dress?" She asked sweetly, smiling then taking a sip of her water, ready to throw the drink and the entire glass in the girls face if she said or did absolutely anything displeasing.

Blood Ties "Oooh, I like it!" Evie grinned at the thought of the Burke sisters standing at the end of the ceremony and all of their dresses falling off because they were now size tent. It was certainly something she wouldn't hesitate to do if she saw an opportunity where she wouldn't be caught in the act. That suggestion of Clem's would keep her little sister smiling for the rest of the day. They were an odd pair, Clem and Evie, especially for purebloods. Most of their family and friends were very picky about their interactions, and therefore very open about who was and wasn't good enough for them. Evie considered herself and her sister to be far superior intellectually for clicking on to the fact that if you pretended to be people's friend, you got to be an even bigger snob in private. It made every day life a little trickier, but it paid off so much when they were considered wonderful ladies who would never be tangled in the web the Dark Lord was weaving. It was the perfect disguise, and it made them highly unusual, even to the point where the likes of Lilith Burke disliked them for it, but who gave a toss what Peroxide bitches thought? Not Evie, and not Clem. Maybe the slow moose who was supposed to help them by getting their dresses cared, but she was likely going to lose her head, literally, before bed if she pissed the sisters off any more by being impossibly slow and useless at her job. She hurried out from the back room, and rushed up to them, overflowing with apologies. "I'm so, so sorry to keep you waiting, ladies. If you'd like to follow me, your dresses are this way." Evie didn't even bother to make eye contact with her, only stood with her glass of water, and smoothed down her skirt, her heels soft on the carpeted floor as she followed the idiot shop assistant into the back of the shop, where private rooms were set up for brides and maids to have fittings and try things on. "I know a few ladies who wouldn't mind being the next Mrs Malfoy," Evie admitted as they walked. "He's handsome, from a good family, and in desperate need of an heir. There are some well respected ladies that would go to great lengths to give him that." Oh, she really wouldn't mind meddling in Lucius' love life, he needed someone worthy. That would be a pleasure, and if he were to mention it to her once he saw sense and got rid of the waste of space that was his current wife, then she wouldn't be hesitating to point him far far away from any of the Burke sisters, and towards one of her own lovely friends. She paused just inside the room they had been led to and stared at their dresses, set up side by side on mannequins. "Oh, Clem, it's more beautiful than I remembered," she gushed over Clem's dress, fighting the urge to go over and run her hands over it, but not wanting to spill her water anywhere near it. _______________________ tag: Clementine Gabrielle Burke notes: Sisters! <3 outfit: Cute and classy. template by izzy[googlefont="Mrs Saint Delafield"]

Clem felt rather smug and cheery knowing that her sister would do just about anything to those pompous and stuck up Burke sisters if they stepped even a toe out of line. They were such a snide lot and far too privileged. Thankfully Lucian didn't seem anything like them, he was really quite grounded and somewhat of a normal human being from her experiences with him. She supposed time would tell but for now she felt rather fortunate to have landed a real gentleman like Lucian. Sure there were plenty of other Grindylow in the lakes, so to speak, but none seemed as genuine as Lucian, at least from the experiences she'd had with the gentlemen of the pureblood world at least. There were some rather charming gents but on the whole they were superficial at best. Lucian wasn't like that, he didn't seem to be hiding anything, unlike her who happened to be a Death Eater, but she'd reveal that after they were married. She was sure Lucian's views would coincide with that but a wife as a Death Eater? It might be a little emasculating for some so she figured it was best to hold off on telling him such news until after the 'I do's.
There were plenty of women out there for Lucius and someone that wasn't a dumb blonde like that Narcissa cow either would be a fine start in finding dear Lucius a suitable wife. Someone that was actually an intellectual with a decent, well adjusted head on her shoulders. What Lucius saw in some vapid bimbo like Narcissa, Clementine would never know. She was as flat as a flying carpet with the personality to match. The Black's were all rather two dimensional, Clem thought, and it was a waste of handsome purebloods that they'd married. Apart from that middle one. That filthy blood traitor could rot in hell for her muggle loving ways. No, she was worse than the other two but only just. Bellatrix, somehow, had a marriage arranged to the wealthiest wizard in the wizarding world. It was apparent from the outside looking in that there wasn't any love there but the fact that she had him was all rather appalling. Rodolphus certainly deserved someone less ... mental. As a woman she was crazy, as a Death Eater Bellatrix was just downright obsessive and deranged. Evangeline Lestrange seemed to have a nice ring to it, Clem thought. Her sister would make a far better wife for Rodolphus than that ridiculous excuse for a sane human being. It was witches like Bellatrix Lestrange that really gave the Death Eaters a bad reputation, she honestly took things too far. Not that it mattered too much, she was getting married soon and her dress was presented before them as they entered the room. There was no point in thinking about the worthless Blacks when there were far more pressing, and beautiful, matters at hand.
A small smile crept over Clem's lips as she looked in awe at her wedding dress. It was rather stunning and it would look even better on her than it did the mannequin. Slowly the mannequin started to rotate, floating ever so slightly off the ground giving them a full 360 view. The train of the dress was magically suspended so as not to drag on the floor and the veil too was lifted away from the dress. So far was so good. Clem thrust her glass of water towards the help and moved in closer to inspect her wedding dress. She would be stunning, entirely dazzling. Eyes would e fixated upon her and while she'd not really cared too much about the wedding, she did find she was getting more and more excited as she took in the wonder of her dress. "Okay, time to make this dress even more spectacular by putting it on me!" She smiled arrogantly, the seamstress waving her wand and the dress flying off of the mannequin as Clem readied herself to try on her spectacular wedding gown.

Blood Ties That dress was certainly a distraction, and when it floated in a slow circle, it practically sparkled in all its glory. Evie couldn't wipe the smile from her face, Clem was going to be the most stunning bride and everybody in attendance would have no choice but to gasp at her beauty. And Evie would be right there beside her looking like a little dream, too, though her dress would come later. It was time for Clem's fitting first, and Evie stood back near the wall to give the ladies some room to move about without anyone standing on the dress and ruining it while they helped Clem into it. Evie could only imagine how many heads would literally roll if anyone dared damage this dress, even accidentally, and she felt quite proud that her sister was someone strong who wouldn't be messed with. Some might call it bitchy, or even cruel and wicked, Evie called it being able to take care of yourself, and not willing to take crap from anyone. Women had always been lesser, weaker, but the Nott sisters were far from that, and Evie intended to stay that way, and if she had any daughters one day, they would be raised to be strong and independent, too. The dress was on, and Evie stepped forward again, leaving her glass of water on a small table at the edge of the room. Her fingers traced delicately along the length of the veil as the idiot shop assistant managed to fit it in Clem's hair without too much trouble. Evie or their mother would fit it for her on the day, and it would be just perfect. "Clementine," she breathed. "You are an angel in the flesh." Her smile was getting bigger and bigger as she moved around Clem to see the dress from every angle. It was just perfection. This wedding would be fabulous, and it was so close! The excitement was getting hard to ignore as each day passed, and Evie couldn't wait to try her own dress on and prove to herself that she was still in tip top shape after Christmas. Mostly she wanted to not have Clem go crazy at her, but a good percent of her really wanted to prove herself and her worries wrong. She was not fat, and she would fit into her dress to the sounds of heavenly music and that was that. _______________________ tag: Clementine Gabrielle Burke notes: Sisters! <3 outfit: Cute and classy. template by izzy[googlefont="Mrs Saint Delafield"]

The moment came. The dress was on. Clem stood looking at herself in the mirror for a moment, taking herself in as she imagined what she would look like with her hair done up and the veil on. She was radiant and she knew it. There were few occasions in life where you had to look your absolute best, but your very own wedding day had to be the stand out, single, most significant look of your lifetime and Clem felt that this look was absolutely perfect for her. On the day she'd be even more perfect but for a dress fitting this was about as perfect as one could get. She was excited to be sharing the moment with Evie. The veil was fitted and Evie circled the dress, reaching out and touching at the veil with the lightest of fingers, barely disturbing the delicate fabric. Both Lucian's mother and her own mother had wanted to be here. Her other bridesmaids too, but this was a moment she wanted to share only with her maid of honour. Evie was her best friend as well as her sister. They had secrets that they shared only with one another and while her wedding dress wasn't a huge secret, she wanted everyone to be awed by her reveal. The day was creeping closer and closer and it was becoming harder and harder not to divulge details, no matter how little.
"They're damn lucky I look so remarkable and that there's not a thing wrong with the gown." Of course if it didn't fit it would have been her own fault, through gaining or losing weight, it wouldn't have been the shops fault or the seamstress' but Clem wouldn't have cared, she would have lost her mind at somebody and blamed someone else entirely. Another reason why she'd only wanted Evie around. Her sister had seen a meltdown or two before, with her mother in law to be around, and even her own mother, she'd have to be on her very best behaviour, something she didn't much feel like being at such a crucial stage of wedding preparedness. "All right, your turn, get into your dress so I can laugh at how much weight you've gained in order to make me look skinnier by comparison." She said, a small smile tweaking the corners of her lips, her hands rested on her hips as she turned to look at herself in one of the many mirrors. The dress really was spectacular and, if Evie knew one thing above all else, it was that Clem was indeed joking about her gaining weight. If her dress didn't fit then it would most certainly be meltdown central.

Blood Ties As perfect as Clementine looked in her gown, Evie did not have high hopes for her own fitting. The dress she was to be wearing was the palest pink and quite flowy from the waist down. It shouldn't be too much of a problem if she'd only gained a bit of pudge on her waist, that would be hidden in loose material. Her arms still felt the same size they had always been, size perfect. Her stomach was flat as a pancake thanks to starving herself like an idiot, so that should also not be a problem. "I'd like to remind you that our parents would not be happy to lose their favourite daughter, so you're not allowed to kill me if this doesn't fit," she said, moving over to her own dress and stripping off to her underwear, not caring at all about the women in the room seeing her flawless body. It would give them something to work towards, she was doing them a favour, showing them what they could be if they put the tea and biscuits down on their breaks and... starved themselves. Yeah, that probably wasn't the best advice to give. The blonde assistant helped her into her dress carefully, and it slipped over her skin like a glove. The back had a zip fastening, and Evie swept her hair forward over her shoulder so that the woman could fasten her up. She felt a tug, and then a stronger tug. Her jaw clenched. "What are you doing?" she mumbled over her shoulder to the woman. "The zip won't go up!" the woman hissed back at her, looking dismayed. "Pull it harder," Evie commanded, sucking her gut in as hard as she could while the woman tried the zip again. It pulled up a bit higher, making it to her bra strap and then stopping. "Have you gained any weight?" the assistant asked quietly, glancing nervously at Clem across the room as she tried to keep their conversation hushed from the brides ears. "No, I haven't," Evie lied, though clearly her boobs had gone up a size or two because they would just not allow that zip to go all the way up. "Obviously your seamstress has made a huge error when she was adjusting the dress for me!" Evie insisted in a frantic hiss, her own dark eyes darting across to Clem. "Can you fix it with your wand?" she whispered, but the idiot blonde shook her head. "I don't know those kinds of spells, I could ruin the dress." Fuckety, fuck, fuck, fuck. _______________________ tag: Clementine Gabrielle Burke notes: Sisters! <3 outfit: Cute and classy. template by izzy[googlefont="Mrs Saint Delafield"]

Clem threw her head back with a hollow but loud "Ha!" Her hands came up and rested on her hips as she moved her head forwards and turned it slightly to look at her younger, and delusional, sister. "Forgive me sister but I think you've been drinking too much Babbling Beverage because you're spouting absolute nonsense." Clem took one more look over herself, a playful grin set on her face as she waved her hand, summoning someone to come and get her out of her wedding dress before one of the incompetent morons ruined it indefinitely. The less they could mangle it, the better. It needed to be tucked away, locked up safe and sound so that she'd know it was safe. Everything had to be perfect. The closer they go to the wedding the more crucial it was that everything was exactly as it should be. There was no room for error. Clem had a highly demanding job in which she rarely had time off. She worked long weeks and she also had her duties as a Death Eater. Fitting a wedding into all this was just chaos, but so long as everything went smoothly, it could be done, and it could be done to absolute perfecti-
Clementine's face dropped as her head whipped around to look at her sister as the assistant tried. Clem stepped forward in her loosened dress, not even bothering to head towards the changing room where she needed to take it off. The lace sleeves slipped over her shoulders and she stepped on the front of the gown. She growled a little in the back of her throat, barely audible as her fat sister failed to get zipped up and asked if they could fix it with but a few simple swishes of a wand. Clem froze, hoping that yes, they could fix it. Her eyes were wide in anticipation even though she already knew the answer. When the answer that Clem most certainly did not wish to hear came, she felt her hands ball into fists and her face scrunched up as she let forth an almighty scream. When her scream was done she turned to the nearest dresses on the walls and tore them from their places, screaming more as she did, letting out her frustrations before turning back around and facing the stupid little witch that wasn't worthy to be in her presence right now. "FIX IT!" She hollered, beyond furious that this was happening. Evie was going on a food strike whether she liked it or not. The fat cow was seriously pushing her luck right now.

Blood Ties The look on Clem's face changed as she realised what the whispering was about. Evie braced herself for a drama as her sister stomped across the room in her beautiful wedding gown, and watched with horror as the shop assistant tried and failed to fasten Evie's dress all the way to the top. Evie winced, pearly white teeth on show in a grimace as Clem released her rage in a hysterical scream. Pressing her lips together, eyes wide as she watched her sister tear dresses down from their hangers in her fury, trashing the room completely and demanding that they fix it. She could only watch for the moment, her fat boobs exposed as she stood there waiting for her sister to pause and breathe. The shop assistant looked terrified, and had backed away from Clem and Evie, as though they might murder her at any moment. If only she knew how close she was to having that become a reality. At least Evie wouldn't be murdered for this, that was a small consolation, you couldn't kill your own sister. Evie decided that she was probably the best person to do damage control, since the silly blonde was proving useless in the corner, trying to scoop up the garments Clem had thrown around, and muttering apologies like her life depended on it. She flicked her manipulation switch to full force and bravely took a few steps towards her big sister. "Clem, breathe," she urged, tugging on her dress as she spoke. "Look, it's just my boobs. It's only a few inches at the top, I'll shrink them, It'll be fine." She nodded at her sister, trying to be as convincing as possible. "It'll be fine." It really would be fine, there was time to get it fixed, they were magical for crying out loud, they could fix this type of thing in seconds if they had someone who knew how. This shop had seamstresses coming out of its arse, they'd have it sorted in a few days. And if they didn't, there'd be a horrible accident in the store that would leave half of the staff dead, because no way was Evie being the one to ruin her sisters wedding because of incompetent dressmakers. Someone would pay. She shimmied out of her dress and turned on the shop assistant. "Fix it," she spat, glaring and shoving the gown into the woman's arms. _______________________ tag: Clementine Gabrielle Burke words 425 notes: Sisters! <3 outfit: Cute and classy. template by izzy[googlefont="Mrs Saint Delafield"]

Breathe?! Rerally!? BREATHE!? Clem started fanning herself with her hands, trying to calm herself down but her rage was a little more overpowering than she had expected. Clem wasn't ready to calm, she wasn't the type to get over her anger quickly because she wanted things her way, right away. This was not her way! There was no fixing it right away! Evie could try all she wanted but Clem knew there was no calming her until her rage fizzled out. Boobs be damned, Clem didn't care what the problem was she just cared that it got fixed. "FIX IIIIIIIT." She whined angrily, stamping her feet and scrunching her face, a true embodiment of a spoilt brat having a tantrum over not getting what it was that she wanted, and a demon bride from hell - also not getting what it was that she wanted.
Clem turned her back to everyone and made her way to her dressing room, trying to go carefully so as not to tear her dress. She did not need that kind of drama. "I can't believe you, Evie. How could you have gotten so careless and fat?" She scolded, her tone harsh and unforgiving. "Everything needs to be perfect well in advance. Do you know what those Burke bitches will be like? Do you!? Because I can practically hear their shrill, loathsome little voices now, sniggering away like the bitches they are - WHY WON'T THIS COME OFF!?" She screamed at the end of her sentence, all in one breath, the back of her dress caught up somehow, preventing her from disrobing completely. Today was a nightmare. She'd hoped for some good, quality bonding with her sister and instead she got this. A nightmare. Worse than a nightmare. If this wedding wasn't perfect, and it was looking as though they couldn't get anything perfect right now, then she may as well kill herself because she would be the laughing stock of the wizarding world, Lucian wouldn't want to marry her, her no-longer future sisters-in-law would be howling away like the bitches they were and her parents would be ashamed of her. Everything needed to be exact and precise well in advance and right now, that wasn't happening.
