Cambria has a lot of different aspects to her personality. Born the first out of three she was spoiled for three years before her brother Coheed came along. A sibling did not agree with Cambria and as such she sought a lot of approval from her parents. When approval became scarce she did anything she could for attention, getting into a lot of trouble and that was the start of her trouble making days of saying things and doing things to get herself into trouble.

Aside from seeking attention from her parents and anyone else she came into contact with Cambria enjoyed telling stories. She was deemed a liar by so many but she was just overly creative. She enjoyed thinking of new things to do and at the age of seven she had an imaginary nanny that gave her all the attention she could ever want.

In a crowded room Cambria stands out. She's loud and occasionally obnoxious, she turns a lot of conversations around to focus on her and her experiences but she's not all bad and not completely self centred.

Cambria likes to help out the poor for various reasons but it's mostly a selfish thing in wanting to feel like she's not been a complete screw up, that she can perhaps do at least a little in helping someone else's life. She gathers foods from the kitchens of Hogwarts with a couple of House Elves and when they're done she takes the food to various homeless shelters around the UK and Ireland, she also makes clothes with any spare time she has but usually she collects people's old clothes, fixes them up and drops them off at the homeless shelters.

Not only does she have a trouble side, charitable side and a self absorbed side she also had another side, a not quite so happy side. Cambria liked to drink a lot, she frequents both the Hog's Head and the Three Broomsticks though not as often as she'd like seeing as her job is quite demanding. She's never thought of herself as an alcoholic but when she does go out drinking she usually has too much and she used to be out at least twice a week before she began working at Hogwarts. Though in the school holidays it's hard to drag her away from a good time. Some might say she has an addictive personality. She's addicted to attention, addicted to the rush of helping people, addicted to trouble and addicted to alcohol. She thinks those people are insane. She's just a nice person that likes to let off a little steam.

Cambria was born to Alice and Joshua Chase nearing the middle of the night. The couple had been celebrating their anniversary when their firstborn decided to make her way into the world and what a splash she created. Waters breaking in a high-end, fashionable restaurant in London it was the start of Cambria's life in the spotlight.

Cambria loved being doted on by her parents. They were loving and giving and she was the absolute apple of their eye. She was a happy and content toddler that was looking forward to becoming a big sister, however not everything worked out and Cambria disliked having to share time with her parents with Coheed, her little brother. 

Being a good big sister, Cambria tried her hardest to help out with her little brother but try as she might she just couldn't do it. She didn't get to play with her daddy at bedtime because mummy needed help with the baby. She didn't get to play with mummy during the day because the baby needed her. Even when the baby was sleeping Cambria was told her parents had other things to do. She felt less and less important in their lives and would often lash out at her teddies and toys, throwing them around, or she'd uncap her markers and draw on the walls.

Cambria struggled to adjust even more when Ambellina, her little sister, was born. She already had so little of her parents time and now she was competing with a third child. At the age of six, Cambria was shutting herself away and playing on her own as much as she could. She ignored her parents calls for her and would instead play with her dolls or read a book. Several times over she would stack her books and rearrange them around herself, building a little fort for protection so that no one could come in, especially her brother and sister.

Being a loud child, Cambria would often wake her brother and sister from their naps, she'd get in trouble and her dislike for her siblings would deepen. It wasn't until she was away at Hogwarts, a place where she had to share a room with other people, that she felt she had some space to just be herself.

Cambria loved school. She'd been placed in Hufflepuff and she'd made it on to the quidditch team in her third year as chaser. She loved to have fun and she loved to explore the castle and its grounds but she was always drawn back to the library and its mystical stacks. Everything at Hogwarts was a wonder and Cambria loved spending her time there, even insisting for her final years that she stay at school rather than return home, for the Christmas holidays.

After graduation Cambria saw her parents and siblings less and less. Her brother and sister were at Hogwarts but she’d never been close to them, she’d always felt like they were little parasites. She got a job at the ministry initially, working in the Accidental Magic Reversal Squad. She met a muggle man and fell in love. They were together for a few years before he decided to pop the question but Cambria wasn’t sure. She still hadn’t told him about how she was a witch but what was she to do in the moment? She loved him and she didn’t want to reject him, so she agreed to marry him.

In December of 1969, aged 23, Cambria was involved in a car accident. Not being aware of the magical world, and with Cambria being unconscious, her fiance, Phillip, had the ambulance take her to the nearest muggle hospital where she was rushed into surgery. She had a number of things wrong with her but nothing a bit of magic and an overnight stay at St.Mungo’s wouldn’t have had cleared up in no time, but no, the muggle surgeons dug through her body “repairing” it. When she came to after the accident, Cambria found Phillip sitting at her bedside. As she stirred he took her hand and waited for her to come to. A Dr was nearby and the accident and her treatments were explained to her. Cambria was heartbroken for she was now left unable to have children. She demanded to leave, but she couldn’t even stand. She tried to get a transfer but of course no one had heard of this St. Mungo’s place. Eventually Cambria wrote a short letter to her parents and had Phillip give it to her owl, an act he thought meant she was going completely barmy, but just hours later her parents were at the hospital, taking things into their own hands.

A few months passed and Cambria was perfectly fine, besides not being able to have children. She knew that she couldn’t blame Phillip, that he’d done the very best that he could, but she couldn’t help but feel a certain animosity towards him and the decision he’d made on the day he’d crashed the car. Cambria decided to call the wedding off and she never looked back.

For a couple of years Cambria bounced around from bar to bar, singing songs and drinking away her sorrows. She didn’t have a meaningful relationship but she did have relationships. She kept her parents at arms length but she saw more of them than she had in the years after her graduation and before the accident. She got a job at Godric's Hollow's Wizardry Library and couldn’t believe that she was following in her mother’s footsteps. She eased up on the drinking now that she wasn’t spending all her evenings in bars, and she actually came to love the library. It brought back fond memories that she hadn’t known she’d had, memories she’d just overlooked before. She recalled visiting her mum at work with her dad while her brother and sister were looked after by her grandparents. She remembered her mum and dad putting Co and Ammy to bed early so they could both read to her at bedtime. A lot of memories she’d forgotten about or perhaps just refused to acknowledge, came back and so she started seeing her mum and dad more regularly and spending a bit more time with her brother and sister.

After two years at the Library in Godric’s Hollow, Cambria made a change and became a librarian at Hogwarts. She enjoys the quiet life that Hogwarts has to offer although she still loves a wild night out. During the summer holidays she still loves to visit bars, sing a little and drink far too much. She’s given up on ever thinking she’ll find a Mr Right so she settles for a Mr Right-Now.
