Boggart: The Dark Lord's demise in various ways. 
Mirror of Erised: The Dark Lord giving praise to Mimi. Announcing her as his most worthy follower, having her stand beside him for everything. She sees him whispering in her ear as she smiles. She is his trusted confidant. 
Patronus: Black Mamba Snake - Mimi cannot produce a patronus but her happiest memory is the touch of the Dark Lord, stroking her cheek.

All her life Mimi has been considered a happy and cheerful individual. She was sorted into Hufflepuff and of course nobody bad ever came from Hufflepuff! She's the last person you'd expect to be involved in anything strange or mysterious for she is such a people person. She's fond of leading people on, helping them and letting them believe she's a lovely, care free witch when in fact, she's anything but. She's a treacherous individual with a disdain for mudbloods hand half breeds. 

But enough about her good points! She's a lover of the Dark Arts. They fascinate her greatly and she's become somewhat of an expert in the field of dark magic. She's practised aplenty on various people over various countries. From New Zealand to Noway, Austria to Australia she's tortured and killed magical and muggle people alike all over the globe. She finds joy in killing, in maiming and hurting. Mimi once enjoyed puppy dogs and flowers but oh how fast a growing girl can change.

Once a girl who would do anything for anyone, Mimi found herself able to make friends fast and easy. She was sweet but firm and to this day she can still be the same way, although it's no longer her personality but a very convincing act. She's well practised in more submissive behaviour although in nearly any situation she can become dominant, an alpha if you will. She's rarely ever forceful unless it's needed and so when her demeanour changes, when her word is challenged, then tensions rise and even the strongest of men will fall beneath her feet. She's impressively fast with her wand, impossibly accurate and one of the Dark Lords best killers.

Friends will be many, enemies will be many also however people won't realise the sweet and kind face of the former Hufflepuff is the one that tortured, maimed and killed their loved one, possibly only moments ago. Her heart is cold and closed off. She has no love for her family nor her friends. Mimi will play with people like they're her toys to do with as she pleases. Her infatuation is with the Dark Lord, his vision of a better, purer future is part of her only goal in life.

Mimette was the first born child of three for Nynette and Maxwell Shafiq. She was overlooked for being female. Her mother was disappointed by the fact she'd birthed a daughter, and on Christmas Day of all days. She felt ashamed and humiliated for her daughter's birth, however Mimi's father couldn't have been more smitten. He doted on her whenever he could, he was often away for business but he always bought her back the most beautiful trinkets, giving Mimi the desire to travel the world, to visit the places her father had been and to see them for herself in person. She often asked to go with her father but was informed it was too dangerous for her, but he promised some day that they would go to Paris together. 

When she was three her first brother was born. Mimi would have had a sibling sooner had her father not been away travelling so much but eventually her mother had a son and some of her shame was lifted. Three years later and another son was born to the Shafiq family, making Nynny proud to have birthed two sons for her husband and to continue the pureblooded Shafiq family line. Maxwell was still smitten with his raven beauty and was proud of his sons, however all his trips overseas were not unnoticed by officials. His home was raided, his secret home along the coast too and many, many stolen and dark items were recovered. Mimi was seven when her father was arrested and taken to Azkaban. He was charged with a lot of crimes but worst of all was murder. Mimi couldn't believe it. She wouldn't believe it. Her father had been a wonderful man and she missed him terribly. 

After the accusations Nynette tried distancing herself from her husband and his family. They'd had an arranged marriage and so she changed her surname, and the surnames of her children, back to her maiden name of Winters. Mimi refused to go along with it however, ultimately, she had no choice. 

Not long after Nynny became engaged to an Auror by the name of Tomas Shacklebolt. Nynette remarried, taking her new husband's name and had a son with him, all within the space of two years, leading rumours to stir, people talking, saying that Nynny had been having an affair and that she set her husband up. Mimi never asked and doesn't believe a word, or at least she didn't as a child and now as an adult she refuses to think of it.

On the train ride to Hogwarts Mimi found she made friends very easily. She was sorted into Hufflepuff where she settled in very well. Life was easy at Hogwarts, it was a home away from home. While Tomas had been lovely and thoughtful and caring, he wasn't her father and Mimi never really connected with the man. She never really connected with anyone in her family other than her father. Her brothers had always been closer, her mother had barely given her the time of day and her half-brother was far too young to have any real attachments to. 

Her sisters were born a few years later, one first the other three years later but by that point Mimi's cheery and happy go nature was starting to dwindle. She'd heard the stories from her mother when she'd been drunk and forced to listen to the woman complain about her first husband, about how Maxwell had been nothing but unfaithful, he was a cheat, a thief. Mimi had learnt fast to just ignore her mother and focused on the positives of her life with her father. She was always looking for the positives in her life and they always surrounded her father. At least up until his imprisonment.

During her third year Mimi went a little off the rails, but only a little. She would sneak out after hours with a dorm mate and the pair would get up to all sorts, like hanging out. Total badassery. By the fourth year things got a little wilder, skipping a lesson here and there, oh my! By her fifth year Mimi was working hard to both blow off school in order to maintain her friendship while keeping up with her homework and quidditch practice because people loved a quiddicth star. She couldn't let any of it slip for she recalled her mother's stories of how her father had been expelled from Hogwarts during his sixth year. Mimi never found out if it was true or not but she didn't want to risk making herself a bad reputation. Or any kind of a reputation beyond being friendly really. She felt as though she had the weight of the world on her shoulders, she had people waiting for her to fail and she wouldn’t give them that satisfaction. She would stand tall and strong.

Seventh year flew by. Mimi did relatively well in her NEWT’s, getting two O’s and the rest E’s. She managed to find herself a career in the Ministry in the Atrium as pretty much just a receptionist, nothing important enough to ever be considered useful by anyone other than the Dark Lord, which suited her very much. She worked her charm, being the friend everyone never knew they needed. She was a hard worker, she played her part well but that was precisely what it was - a part. She didn’t care any more for the people she was face to face with, what she cared for was the Dark Lord and his cause.

Mimi became a Death Eater and with her position in the ministry she was able to make note of the comings and goings of certain witches and wizards. She was able to forewarn colleagues within the Ministry of who might be approaching that might be unwanted company. She had eyes and ears all throughout the ministry and yet no one really paid her any attention. She played her part in the Death Eaters as much as at the Ministry, receiving special training in Dark Arts. She found a fascination with them and became rather obsessed. She killed for the first time, guided by a Death Eater in a mask. She was young but it was thrilling and it was certainly the life she wanted to follow. While the position was moderately well paying it wasn’t the best, however she was more than happy to work for the Dark Lord in the position, until she got a promotion which would have been suspicious to pass up, it paid very well in comparison.

She moved about the ministry from department to department over the years, taking holidays every six months so as not to arouse suspicion. She travelled to all the places she wanted to visit as a child over the years and then some. She spent her holidays studying dark magic in different parts of the world, killing as she went but tidying up her trail, she’d learnt a lot from her father’s incarceration.

Now Mimi is still a death eater and she’s back in the Atrium with a much better wage. She likes her position and is exceedingly welcoming to all that come by. She’s a positive little ray of sunshine while she’s working and a deadly killer in her private time. She is devoted to the Dark Lord above all others and may or may not be ready to marry him and provide him with heirs at the drop of a hat.
