But I'm busy mending broken pieces of the life I had before Hannah was out with Elle for the day. Tessa had to cover a shift for Vera, her longest standing barmaid who had come down with a nasty stomach bug last night. Struggling to find someone to watch Hannah, since Ollie was away working and she honestly didn't trust that many people with her daughter, Tess had been grateful that her sister was still someone she could turn to in an emergency. Things had been strained with her siblings for a long time when Tess had gone off the rails, they hadn't approved of her life at all, but Azrielle seemed to believe in her ability to turn things around, and honestly, Tess thought she was doing a great job, too. She was. She was running the pub, raising a kid, managing to keep a few friends. Elle had always been more forgiving than Rufus, Tessa's brother, and now she was giving Hannah a happy day while her mother slaved away behind a bar. Her shift would be over in an hour or so anyway, and Hannah would be coming home in time for them to have tea together and a cosy evening reading baby books and playing with teddies. Maybe a bath for both of them, depending how tired Tess was. She poured a glass of red wine for the witch at the far end of the bar, lost in thought about her daughter and what she might be up to with her auntie. She wasn't expecting to hear that voice, his voice, and the wine sloshed over the side of the glass, all over Tessa's white shirt. "Shit," she muttered, grabbing a cloth and scrubbing at her top, though it was already ruined. She glanced over her shoulder, heart leaping into her mouth at the sight of him. Another glass of wine was poured in silence, and she passed it to the waiting witch before turning to face him, the hint of a smile playing at the corners of her mouth. "Ric," she breathed. How long had it been? She couldn't remember. The last time they had been together was before Hannah. Hannah, who had his hair and Tessa's eyes. Hannah, who he knew nothing about. Heart hammering in her chest, Tessa didn't know whether to run to him or away from him. She busied herself with getting him the beer he'd requested and slid it across the bar to him, holding her hand out for payment, green eyes fixed on the face she had loved since she was a teenager. _______________________ tag: Alaric Dimitri Pinkerton words: 454 notes: <3 outfit: Stained. template by izzy[googlefont="Butterfly Kids"][googlefont="Cinzel Decorative"]

But I'm busy mending broken pieces of the life I had before "Sorry," Tessa said immediately. "I meant white." She gave Helley the grin of a former hell raiser, and reached out to take her spawn from Helley's arms as the blonde offered her over. "Piglet?" Tessa's mouth dropped open in exaggerated shock. "She is not a piglet, she's a beautiful little-" she looked at her daughter for a moment, scanning her face and waiting for some other, much cuter animal to jump out at her. Well there were big eyes that were starting to turn green, a little turned up nose, chubby cheeks, and she was kind of pink all over. "-piglet. You're right." Tessa crinkled her nose as she stared at Hannah, never having thought to give her an animal nickname, and being totally unhappy that her little angel had such an unflattering match. "She'll grow out of that." She sounded sure of herself, but insecurity reared its ugly head as Tessa promised herself that Helley would be the only person on the planet to ever call Hannah by that nickname. Ever. Ever ever. She sat Hannah on her knee, face aimed away from both women and the dog, and began to gently pat her back, rubbing up a storm as she spoke. "If she's anything like her mother, she will definitely be a little shit," Tessa said. It was, unfortunately, just in Hannah's genes, but that didn't mean she couldn't fight it. Tess would of course be doing her best to try and raise Hannah to be good and sweet and respectable. She would also be teaching her how to throw a punch, and how to disarm a person without a wand, because you never knew when she might need such knowledge before she had a wand of her own. Plus she lived over a pub, she would be in close proximity to drunks and weirdos on a daily basis, she'd need to be able to kick arse to some degree. How to make her good and fierce at the same time was a bit of a mystery to Tessa, but she would be giving it her best shot. She didn't bring a baby into the world and ruin her vagina just to raise a daughter who would end up in Azkaban some day. _______________________ tag: Wilhelmina Emerald Rayne words: 409 notes: <3 outfit: Tessa, Hannah, Morgana template by izzy[googlefont="Butterfly Kids"][googlefont="Cinzel Decorative"]

But I'm busy mending broken pieces of the life I had before This girl had spunk, and Tessa liked it. The way she teased Ollie without blushing and turning into a girlish idiot at being called cute was admirable. Ollie, on the other hand, turned into a panicking fool, which was kind of adorable. Tess didn't feel guilty at all for revealing what he'd called the blonde. She knew Ollie well enough, or so she thought, to know that he wasn't the most forward when it came to the ladies. She'd seen him giving looks at cute girls across the bar before, but never acting on it. It was clear for all to see that he didn't cope well when it came to romantic situations, and if he thought he was having a drink with a friend, then he really had a long way to go, bless him. Maybe Tess had been around the block one too many times and was too blunt about the whole thing, but there was no point beating around the bush. If you wanted in someone's pants, you might as well just be upfront with them. "Oh, sure," she agreed dramatically. "I am drunk as a skunk, off my rocker. Don't know what I'm talking about." Yet there was still a bright smile on her face and a twinkle in her eye as she slammed two small glasses onto the bar and filled them with firewhiskey. "On the house, because you two excite me," she told them. "And now I'm clocking off. I have squishy baby cheeks to kiss. You two have a good night." She winked at Ollie, and gave the blonde a cheeky grin. "Nice meeting you, cute blonde friend." Tessa tugged off her apron and stashed it under the bar, whispering in Sally's ear that she was heading upstairs for the night. She did have squishy baby cheeks to kiss, though there was a part of her now that she wasn't pregnant that kind of wished she had someone else to kiss, too. It had been a while. A whole year, in fact, maybe more, she hadn't been counting, but she really did need the kind of attention that an adorable brunette was likely going to give a cute blonde tonight. _______________________ tag: Oliver Osiris Devereaux and Echo Arista Everwood words: 407 notes: <3 outfit: Without Jack between her legs. template by izzy[googlefont="Butterfly Kids"][googlefont="Cinzel Decorative"]

Tessa Abbot runs the Leaky Cauldron, and is mother of baby Hannah. She has two siblings, an older brother, and a younger sister, who she has a rocky history with. Tess went off the rails in her teens, and carried on being a bit naughty through her twenties. It's only over the past couple of years that she's calmed down, and it'd be nice if she could mend a few fences here and there with her family. Her parents have given up on her, and gave her the Leaky Cauldron to run, hoping it would help calm her down, but aside from that they don't have anything to do with each other. Her siblings are a different story, and I believe she has a chance of having a relationship with them again. RUFUS _______ ABBOTT
PUREBLOOD - 38/39 YEARS OLD - HUFFLEPUFF ALUMNI - JAKE GYLLENHAAL
Tessa's big brother. Rufus was supposed to run the Leaky Cauldron but he didn't want it, so Tessa was next in line. Everything about him is completely up to you, really, the only thing mentioned about him in Tessa's app was that he judged her pretty harshly when she went off the rails, and he didn't approve of her rebellion at all. She's been on the straight and narrow for a solid two years now, so that might go some ways towards convincing him that she deserves a second chance. It's up to you whether he's interested in fixing things with her or not. His personality, job, entire life is yours to create, he could be married with kids, or single, or absolutely anything! Suggested face is the yummy Jake Gyllenhaal, but can be changed. I'm quite fond of his name, but that can be changed, too. Also, added bonus, he was the same year and house as Fergus Jefferson Bones at school, so they'd have been dorm mates, so Rufus has a good friend on the site already (he needs to turn 39 before 1st September 1981). PM with any questions. <3
BRIELLE _______ ABBOTT
PUREBLOOD - 27 YEARS OLD - HUFFLEPUFF ALUMNA - GINNIFER GOODWIN
T A K E N by C O C O !
Bree is Tessa's younger sister, and the only one out of the family who actually was still nice to Tess when she was in her wild years. She never really gave up on her like the others did, and now that Tessa is a mum, Bree is more willing than ever to strengthen their relationship and be an auntie to little Hannah. Her personality and life is entirely up to you, you can make her however you like, as long as she's sweet enough to be good to Tess when no one else was. Suggested face is the gorgeous Ginnifer Goodwin, it'd be nice if you could keep her, but you can change it if you really want. Name can also be changed. PM with any questions! <3

Tessa Abbott, mother of Hannah Abbott who was born in September 1979. She's a rebel who turned her life around when she became pregnant, but there's always going to be one element of her life that's just wrong... She hasn't told the father of her child that he's a dad. Oops. So this guy needs to come back into her life, and either cause a bit of trouble for her, or add a bit of happiness to her world. It's up to you. FIRST MIDDLE LAST
ANY BLOOD STATUS - 30-36 YEARS OLD - ANY HOUSE - JOSH HOLLOWAY
Mr Mystery here has been in an on and off relationship with Tessa for years. She was quite naughty and got into a lot of trouble through her teens and twenties, and it's up to you whether this guy was involved in that, or an outsider who tried to get her to calm down and be good. If he was in on her wild ways, then he'd be someone she sees as not fit to raise a child with her, and that would be why she didn't tell him she was pregnant. She would have broken up with him (again), and went off to run the Leaky Cauldron and get on with her life without him, hoping he stayed out of her life so she could turn things around for herself and Hannah.
The alternate option is that he was a very good guy, and she loved him, and he tried to get her to change but she never did. They broke up multiple times over the years, always coming back to each other because they love each other. She would have felt like she would disappoint him if she had his baby and turned out to be a crap mother, so she would have ran, and had the baby in secret, hoping he'd get on with his life and not be burdened by the trouble she used to bring to him.
Either way, he needs to come back into her world and learn that he's a daddy! He has no name, he can be any age in his thirties, any house, any blood status, none of that matters. You can make him up completely from scratch, the only requirement is that he loves Tessa. Face is Josh Holloway because LOST! <3. PM with any questions! <3

But I'm busy mending broken pieces of the life I had before Helley was right, Tessa probably couldn't afford her right now. Money was tight since Hannah had been born, and though she didn't resent it one little bit, she knew it limited her, and she would be stuck with her current employees for quite some time before things could change. It sounded like Helley had mixed feelings about her new job, but Tessa couldn't help a laugh. It wasn't often you heard teachers referring to their students as little shits, and it was refreshingly honest. Really, though, that was what Helley was good for, refreshing honesty, and it was one of the reasons Tessa got on so well with the blonde. They had that in common, though Tess wasn't quite so foot-in-mouth. She was good at telling people what for, though, at least her employees knew not to mess with her. She wondered what Helley's students thought of their new professor. She probably would have found her refreshing, but she knew most kids liked soft teachers who they could get away with murder with. Helley probably was not that. She mentioned the fact that the last two Astronomy Professors had died, and though she felt that familiar pang of sadness at the subject, Tessa looked at Hannah and pushed it away. She found Hannah quite magical in that way. If ever anything sad or dark tried to creep into Tessa's head, Hannah had this incredible ability to just make it evaporate within seconds. It was a side of motherhood Tess hadn't expected, but she certainly took advantage of it, and she'd found herself generally happier because of it. Hannah was happiness, and as long as she had that, sadness couldn't touch her, not really. "Just don't die," she said dryly, taking the empty bottle from Hannah and clicking the lid on. She tucked it back into the bag that hung on the pram. "You need to still be there when this little shit's at school. Though you might be grey and unrecognisable by then." Was she joking? Who knew. She did hope Helley would still be there when it was Hannah's time to go to Hogwarts, but whether Helley would still be blonde or not was another matter entirely. She'd certainly have a few more wrinkles, and would probably be calling the kids shits to their faces by that point. _______________________ tag: Wilhelmina Emerald Rayne words: 423 notes: <3 outfit: Tessa, Hannah, Morgana template by izzy[googlefont="Butterfly Kids"][googlefont="Cinzel Decorative"]

But I'm busy mending broken pieces of the life I had before Tess smiled playfully when Ollie insisted that the girl he was meeting was just a friend. "Right," she agreed. "A cute friend." It was adorable. Honestly, she wasn't usually one for romance - Merlin knew her own love life had been a mess her entire life - but sometimes something would tug at her heart just a little bit. Ollie talking about a cute girl definitely gave one of those tugs. He was such a lovely guy, and it made her feel really old to think of him in that way, but he was young and sweet and would just be such a good boyfriend to someone, that she was kind of disappointed to hear him denying it. She wanted him to be on a date, damn it. It was cute! She wasn't one to push, though, and she slipped back into her usual cool and unbothered manner, giving the bar one last wipe and tidying some glasses away as Ollie asked about Hannah. "She's a little chunk," Tessa answered with a fond chuckle. "She just started solids, and I'm pretty sure I'm going to need a second job just to keep the cupboards stocked." She was exaggerating, but Hannah had really - like, really - taken to solids like a pro. She'd only tried baby rice and porridge so far, but by the way she gobbled it down like it was the last meal she would ever see, it was pretty promising, and Tessa just hoped it would stick. She didn't know how she'd deal with a fussy eater. Tessa was one of those people that would try anything, and it was fun, she wanted to able to go to fun restaurants with her kid when she was older and eat the weirdest things on the menu just for a laugh. They were definitely on track for that. She turned from stacking glasses in time to see Ollie give a little wave to someone across the room, and keen green eyes zoomed in on a cute blonde fussing over Morgana by the fireplace. She looked familiar, but Tessa didn't know her. She'd likely been in a few times, but aside from that, Tessa couldn't place her from anywhere. "Oooh," she grinned. "Is that her?" She lifted her arm right up in the air and waved over to the blonde as she stood up and started to cross the room towards them. "So you're the cute blonde Ollie's waiting on," she grinned. "What can I get you two?" They'd need a drink to get things going, and then another, and another. Tessa was a terrible influence. She smiled brightly at Ollie. _______________________ tag: Oliver Osiris Devereaux and Echo Arista Everwood words: 477 notes: <3 outfit: Without Jack between her legs. template by izzy[googlefont="Butterfly Kids"][googlefont="Cinzel Decorative"]

But I'm busy mending broken pieces of the life I had before Tessa let out a harsh laugh at the thought of describing her morning as fun. It definitely hadn't been. She had been thrown up on at breakfast and had to have an entire outfit change for herself and Hannah, her own breakfast had gone cold and she'd thrown it in the bin and ate a chocolate biscuit instead, which just made her feel shit. On top of that, she hadn't even been intending to bring Morgana with her, but the dog had heard the word "park" being uttered to Hannah, and ran to get her lead. Tess had told her to stay countless times, but Morgana had insisted that she come along, and had basically carried her own lead all the way out of the building as she followed Tessa, who could do nothing to stop her because she was pushing a pram through a busy pub. The morning had turned out differently to what she'd expected but fun definitely was not the word for it. "Yeah, fun," she said, with the wild eyed look of a big fat liar on her face. Helley asked about her week and she shook her head. "Chaos," she said. "Billy called in sick, so I've had to get Sally to do double shifts, and you know how I feel about Sally." Sally liked to flirt with the customers more than she liked to serve them, and she was really pushing herself closer and closer to being fired every day. If she could, Tess would just dismiss her for being downright annoying, but she needed the staff right now. Hiring someone new took time, and then if they needed a bit of training, that slowed things down even more. Between looking after Hannah and trying to man the bar herself some nights, it just wasn't the right time to ditch Slutty Sally. "How about you?" she asked as Hannah slurped the last drop of milk down. "Ready to come back to the Leaky again?" she gave Helley her most charming grin, though she knew it would never work. Helley was lost to the Leaky for good. Who would give up a job of teaching at Hogwarts, to work behind a bar? You'd have to be crazy, and Helley was crazy, but not that kind. _______________________ tag: Wilhelmina Emerald Rayne words: 414 notes: <3 outfit: Tessa, Hannah, Morgana template by izzy[googlefont="Butterfly Kids"][googlefont="Cinzel Decorative"]

But I'm busy mending broken pieces of the life I had before She did it. For Merlin's sake, she did it. Morgana was neck deep in the duck pond, swimming around like it was a lovely summers day, ducks flapping to get away from her to the other side of the water. Tessa stood at the edge of the pond and used the firmest voice she had to command her dog to come back to her, and after what she thought was a kind of scary tone, Morgana finally decided that she'd finished her leisurely swim, and paddled out of the water to her owner. She stopped next to Tessa and steadied her long legs, crouching a little and ducking her head. Tessa had half a second to recognise the stance and turn her back just in time to get sprayed by a ton of water as Morgana shook herself out. Her back soaked with icy pond water, Tessa turned around, fuming just a tiny bit, and plucked a random green leafy thing off of Morgana's hip. "You are naughty," she told the huge pup with a glare. Morgana only wagged her tail. She knew she was good, and that this was just hot air, but she waited patiently while Tessa used her wand to repair the snapped lead and attach it to her collar. She was even more patient as Tess dried the pair of them off with a quick spell. Morgana's fur was impossibly thick, but she managed to get most of the water out of it, then tried as best she could to reach her own back. The lead was tucked between her thighs as she waved her wand around blindly behind her, hot air whooshing about a bit like a hair dryer until she felt relatively dry again. She tucked her wand away in her bag, and then led a more relaxed Morgana back across the park. By the time she reached Helley, the blonde had Hannah sat on her lap, a bottle in her mouth that was nearly completely drained. "Wow, I'm impressed," Tessa smiled, out of breath as she marched her giant pooch up to the bench and paused next to the pram. "Sit." Morgana sat. "Stay." That one was up for debate. "Sorry about that, fluffy butt thought we were on an adventure," she said to Helley as she sat on the bench beside her. "You're doing a good job," she said enthusiastically, leaning over to peer into Hannah's contented little face. "Your Auntie Helley is doing a good job, isn't she," she cooed, getting no response because there was still a tiny bit of milk that needed to be sucked dry before Hannah could allow herself to acknowledge anyone. The kid liked her food. Tessa was actually looking forward to her starting solids in a few weeks, she'd probably be eating full roast dinners on day one. _______________________ tag: Wilhelmina Emerald Rayne words: 507 notes: <3 outfit: Tessa, Hannah, Morgana template by izzy[googlefont="Butterfly Kids"][googlefont="Cinzel Decorative"]

But I'm busy mending broken pieces of the life I had before Tessa checked her watch for what must have been the fiftieth time in the past ten minutes alone. Her shift was finished in half an hour and then she would be free to leave Billy to keep the pub running smoothly until closing time. Hannah was upstairs, sound asleep in her cot with her babysitter, who cost an arm and a leg but was necessary if Tess ever wanted to get back into work. She hadn't been running the Leaky Cauldron for long, but she found she enjoyed it, and she was good at it, and really, what more could you ask of a job? It had surprised her, in all honesty, she had never imagined herself in the role, it should have been her older brother Rufus. Now she often wondered what would have become of herself and Hannah if Rufus hadn't refused the pub. If it hadn't been forced on her, her life could be a lot worse right now, and Hannah's, too. It was unthinkable, really, and she couldn't wait to get upstairs to her baby, to just relax before it all started again tomorrow. She wiped the bar down with a clean cloth and looked up as a new arrival approached. She was expecting a regular to bark an order at her, but her face lit up with a wide smile to see Oliver Devereaux looking like a little hottie in his leather jacket. Ollie was someone Tessa liked a lot, he was always chatty and funny, and he was unbelievable with kids, Tess wouldn't hear anyone say any different about him. He had watched Hannah for her a couple of times, and honestly, if he wasn't killing it in Professional Quidditch, she'd have begged him to be her full time child minder. Maybe not begged, more bribed with free drinks whenever he wanted them. Alas, he was occupationally spoken for, and there was a chance he was romantically spoken for by the sounds of him tonight. Her green eyes lit up as she stopped her cleaning and gave him a scandalous look. "Oooh, a date with a cute blonde?" she asked, leaning over the bar with a keen interest. "I haven't seen anyone who fits the description, but you bet your backside I will be hanging around to see this." For at least another half an hour, at least. "And you're early, you must really like her," she observed with a cheeky grin. Tessa had never actually seen Ollie bring a date to the Leaky before. She was sure he dated, a guy as cute as him would have plenty of girls willing to go out with him. He probably took them to much fancier places, but she approved of this cute blonde already if she was the kind who would like a good time like the Leaky offered. _______________________ tag: Oliver Osiris Devereaux and Echo Arista Everwood words: 514 notes: <3 outfit: Without Jack between her legs. template by izzy[googlefont="Butterfly Kids"][googlefont="Cinzel Decorative"]

But I'm busy mending broken pieces of the life I had before "MORGANA!" Tessa ran as fast as she could through the park, the pram catching on rocks and clumps of mud as she veered into the grass like a maniac. It was hard to breathe, she hadn't been too active in the form of exercise since she'd had Hannah in September, and this mad dash was taking its toll already. She was only round the corner from home, but it felt like she'd been running for miles. Hannah, all five and a half gorgeous chunky months of her, had started off laughing hysterically at the antics of her mother, but now it had turned to a look of disapproval that was going to turn to tears any second. She was not happy being bumped about like that. Tess couldn't stop, though, she didn't exactly want to be speeding through the park like a mad woman, nor did she want to get funny looks from people the way she currently was. Unfortunately, she had a long black dog lead wrapped around her wrist, and no dog attached to the other end. She was supposed to be meeting Helley by the fountain about ten minutes ago, and as she approached, she spotted the blonde siting on a bench in the winter sun. Relieved, Tessa steered the pram over to her, Hannah now crying inside it, her little face scrunched up in fury. It was probably hunger too, Tessa realized as she parked the pram up in front of her friend and ran off across the grass. "She's hungry!" she called over her shoulder to Helley. "There's a bottle in the bag!" And with no more instruction, she was off, the great black and tan mass of her Bernese Mountain dog, Morgana, set in her sights. "Morgana!" she bellowed as she ran. Morgana was honestly a well behaved dog. She usually sat by the fire in the pub, watching the patrons and getting toothy whenever any trouble broke out. She was a great security guard, and she was brilliant with Hannah. She just liked to let off a little steam when they were out and about. She was known for making a break for it whenever she thought she could, but Tessa hadn't been expecting it this morning and the lead had snapped. She clung to it, her wand now in her other hand as she ran as fast as she could at the huge dog who was headed right for the duck pond. "Morgana, don't you dare!" she roared, green eyes blazing with dread. _______________________ tag: Wilhelmina Emerald Rayne words: 451 notes: <3 outfit: Tessa, Hannah, Morgana template by izzy[googlefont="Butterfly Kids"][googlefont="Cinzel Decorative"]

Living area The top floor of the Leaky is only small, but it does afford Tessa some much appreciated privacy from the guests staying in the inn. She thinks it's just the right size for her, and likes being able to go from the couch to the kitchen in just a few strides. It's a bit snug now that she has her baby, but she and Hannah make do and enjoy the cosiness of the place. She has a small balcony that overlooks Diagon Alley, which she adores.
Tessa's bedroom Up the stairs from the main living area is Tessa's bedroom. It is open to the rest of the house since it sits atop a balcony, but she has never really needed it to be walled off. She likes the quirkiness of it, and it's easy to hear Hannah if she wakes up in her cot, which is tucked in at the bottom of Tessa's bed.
Spare bedroom The spare bedroom is located in the hall off of the kitchen, and has quite a few beds squished in there if she ever wants friends or family to stay over.
Bathroom The bathroom is the second door on the small hall, and is very tiny and a bit cramped, but it does the job for just one person.

Tessa Nicole Abbott & Dorian Michael Humbert She was a year younger than him at school, a Huffle, but a bad girl. They definitely wouldn't have been in the same world back then, but maybe knew of each other. I dunno. He'd be someone who would be really good for her now she's trying to turn her life around. Maybe they're on friendly terms if he ever passes through the Leaky or stops in for a drink. She's about to have Hannah any minute now, so maybe future run-ins in the park with the tiny people. Tessa Nicole Abbott & @roddy Drunken sex one time back in her naughty days? XD Tessa Nicole Abbott & Euphadora Rose Parkinson Their babies are going to be schoolmates one day! Probably not mates though, but who knows. XD Dora's like nine years younger, though. Oh! Maybe Dora is drunk in the Leaky a lot after having Pansy, and Tessa steps in all "hard work, isn't it?" and they bond over being new mums and whatnot. She could end up sort of being big sistery to Dora. Echo Arista Everwood & Euphadora Rose Parkinson She's graduated!! They can finally have a run in and actively hate each other!!! *excited dance* We need a new reason, though, unless they just can't stand each other's faces. Jonathan James Townsend & Euphadora Rose Parkinson She totally takes Mimi to the vets that he's training at, so they see each other for doggy check ups and flirt, and it's cute. And he was the year below her at school, so I dunno if you want them to have had any school interactions. I'm open to anythingggg. Jonathan James Townsend & Amelia Margaret Greengrass So I aged him up, but they can still dislike/secretly fancy each other if you want. (You need more characters!! Have I plotted with Cissa yet? I can't remember. XD)

Tessa Nicole Abbott & Dorcas Amilie Meadowes Tess was three years above Dorcas at school, so they wouldn't have known each other from then. Tess has a long list of petty crimes against her name, but nothing that was likely Auror level involvement, so I think she'd be clear of having crossed Dorcas' path in that way too! Which leavessssss the Leaky! If they met through the pub, Dorcas was probably drunk and didn't even remember Tessa after the first five times they met/talked in there. X'D Tess thinks she's a laugh, and though she'd never be besties with her, I think they'd get along just in the pub capacity. If they spent any sober time together and started getting to know each other properly, I reckon they'd clash. Let's keep it to drunky stuffs only. Lmao Tessa Nicole Abbott & Cora Calliope Vance Friends of sorts? I dunno! I think they'd get on. Tess is very accepting of all walks of life, especially outcasts and rebels, she has a soft spot/weakness for and is drawn to those kinds of people because she's one of them. Obviously she's not gonna know Cora is a wolfy unless she heard it on the grapevine at the pub, but she'd sense that kind of broken guardedness in her and feel a connection in that. I'm waffling. You know what I mean. Kindred outcasts or something. XD Tessa Nicole Abbott & Paris Cordelia James Probably not a school thing because Tess was two years ahead, but these two definitely partied together! I reckon Paris' wilder side would have been right up Tessa's alley, and they'd have had some wild night on the town together, maybe in a group of really bad friends who they shouldn't have been around, but fff that, it was fun! Possibly even fooled around once when they were drunk? Tessa Nicole Abbott & Fergus Jefferson Bones He was the same year and house as her big brother, Rufus! So he was roomies all through school with her brother, they were bound to have met maybe over summer holidays if Gus visited Ruf at home. Gus could have been all "how on earth did your sister go off the rails so badly? She used to wear pigtails!" And these days he might be a bit wary of her, but she'd always approach him and say hi and ask about his life and whatnot. Maybe they're at a point where they can chat over the bar while she's working and he's becoming a sort of brother figure to her now that she's sorting her life out. I can just picture it: Gus: "Who's the father, then? Go on, you can tell me, I won't tell a soul." Tess: "It's you, Gus. I'm insulted you don't remember that night that we had last winter..." X'D Tessa Nicole Abbott & Lucius Armand Malfoy Well she has obviously stared at his arse/face/body/all of him whenever he's passed through to go to Diagon Alley. Tessa Nicole Abbott & Caradoc Bernard Dearborn She's a year younger. They were waaaaay different at school, so that didn't happen, worlds apart. But I can see them having become friends as adults. He's the kind of guy she needs to end up with eventually, but she doesn't even know it because she's too sucked in by naughty guys. She would find him super easy to talk to, and just enjoys his company in a relaxed way, where she doesn't feel like she has to be on the ball all of the time. She can trust him, basically, and that's rare for her, so he's a very valuable friend in her life. Or something. Tristan Jude Dearborn & Caradoc Bernard Dearborn Tiny Tristan: "Cadog, where my deedee?" *tugs on Doc's sleeve* 6 year old Caradoc: *takes Trissy's hand* "Let's find it." Tiny Tristan: *beams* *squeezes Caddy's hand tight*
6 year old Tristan: "Caddy, I can't sleep. Tell me a story? Pleeeease!" 10 year old Caradoc: "Move over, then." 6 year old Tristan: *shuffles over to make room on his bed* *snuggles up* 10 year old Caradoc: "You ready?" 6 year old Tristan: *nods, big blue eyes fixed on Caddy* 10 year old Caradoc: "Once upon a time, there was a brave Knight called Sir Tristan..."
7 year old Tristan: "...but I'll miss you!" 11 year old Caradoc: "I'll be home at Christmas, that's only a few months away." 7 year old Tristan: *clings to Caddy in a crushing hug* *frets about being the new big brother*
The night before Tristan's death: Tristan: "Well I've got two months off, I can come anytime." Caradoc: "What about next weekend?" Tristan: "Yeah, as long as you don't make me sleep out with the horses." Caradoc: *laughs* *no answer* Tristan: "Caddy..." Caradoc: "More laughing." Tristan: "Very funny." Caradoc: "Next weekend, then. You can stay as long as you like." Tristan: "Great. See you then." Caradoc: "Don't forget your deedee." Tristan: *snorts* "Love you, too, brother." *both hang up muggle phone*
