hile of course she did her best to give as much care as was possible to every one of her patients, Lily was nevertheless very much aware that there was a waiting room outside which was filling up rather more quickly than they could possibly cope with, and she was more or less finished in here, while there were people outside who were dying slowly. Well. Everyone was dying slowly, if you looked at things in a rational light; it was just that some people were dying more quickly than others, and they were the ones out there, because Spell Damage was, in Lily's admittedly biased opinion, the ward which saw the most grotesque cases. Other wards had dangerous cases, of course, and they had fatal cases by the very nature of the hospital which they were running here, but Spell Damage saw the exposed bones, the magical burns, the exploded noses... Lily had a strong stomach and had been glad of it on many occasions, but some of her fellow trainees had not been so lucky and more than once since she'd qualified, she'd seen colleagues having to duck out of a room. Personally, she counted her lucky stars. She had, in the short time that she had been here, seen a wider variety of injuries than she could ever have imagined. This one was a new one on her, though, and it was going to require some thought. Lily wasn't wholly certain what to make of it. For now, however, she maintained a bright smile and jotted a few final notes on her clipboard as the man made his way out. "Good! Let us know if you have any further issues so we can follow up!" she called briskly, dotting a final full stop and then swiftly rinsing her hands before walking back out into the waiting room and calling "Next, please!"
